
Bordeaux, May 14 – Marked by the presence of a large and enthusiastic public, the first day of qualification was full of surprises under the magnificent Bordeaux sun.
The French players took this first day seriously with the qualification of Ugo BLANCHET, Antoine ESCOFFIER and Kyrian JACQUET. Argentinian Guido ANDREOZZI won against Fernando VERDASCO in two sets (6-3 / 6-4). The licensed player of the Villa Primrose, Elliot BENCHETRIT qualified in 2 sets (6-4 / 6-4) against Bart STEVENS.
The day ended with a magical Opening Ceremony which saw the magician Larsene take possession of the court before Mansour BAHRAMI, the initiator of the Legends Trophy known for his sense of humor, and Mathias BOURGUE, awarded with a wildcard of the tournament, faces the former 37th and 38th in the world, Marc GICQUEL and Steve DARCIS.

A promising day 2
The qualifications continue on a second day before giving way to the first matches of the single draw. The Court Central Agence Côte Ouest will honor French players with matches opposing Antoine ESCOFFIER to Ugo BLANCHET, Arthur CAZAUX to Arthur RINDERKNECH and Ugo HUMBERT to Arthur FILS. While waiting for Stan WAWRINKA, Andy MURRAY, Dominic THIEM, Richard GASQUET and Benoît PAIRE to enter the court on Tuesday.
